Cinema 4D offers various tools for creating realistic visual effects. But as far as creating visual effects is concerned, this program is a force to be reckoned with. I did see some simple motion graphics animations from DaVinci Resolve, but I couldn't see if it was suited for animating something like a character walk cycle or anything more complicated. Technically, Cinema 4D is only used to create and animate 3D objects.
